Tanner Pearson's hand injury suffered in November was supposed to keep him on the shelf for three weeks. Fast forward four months and he not only has yet to play again, there is an outside chance he never plays again.

Just a horrible break for the 30-year old.
Pearson and his $3.25 million cap-hit have sat on the long-term injured reserve for the last three weeks, which helps the Canucks clean up their situation. If Pearson's career is indeed jeopardized due to his injury, one has to wonder about a malpractice suit.
