The Canucks had two Elias Petterssons working on Saturday. One answered a hit in Penticton, the other led Vancouver in penalty minutes down in Seattle.
Jeff Paterson had the first one. Cole Clayton took EP40 out along the boards at the camp scrimmage that morning.
Next shift, EP40 went right back at him and returned the favour. Paterson's words, and the Penticton crowd ate it up.
The defenceman handled the evening shift. Four penalty minutes across 19:07 in Seattle.
That was the most of anybody in a Canucks sweater. Ten penalty minutes for the whole team, and he owned four of them.
Aatu Raty collected a minor of his own in 16:00 of work.
One account said they'd really missed Canucks shenanigans started by Raty and Pettersson. That's a fanbase telling on itself.

None of it moved the scoreboard. Seattle took the game 4-2.
Arshdeep Bains and Braeden Cootes scored for Vancouver, and each of them added an assist to go with it.
Jonathan Lekkerimaki put up 2 assists and still wore the worst of the postgame reaction.
Jake O'Brien scored and set one up for the Kraken, walking out at a +2.
Logan Morrison and Jani Nyman both scored with the man advantage. That's where the game got away.
Nikita Tolopilo went the distance for Vancouver and stopped 26 of 30.
Joey Daccord turned aside all 14 he faced in 40 minutes. Niklas Kokko took the win in relief.
The two sides matched each other at 10 penalty minutes apiece. Nobody pushed it any further than that.
Manny Malhotra took the Vancouver bench job on June 1, and he takes this group to Calgary on Tuesday.
So does pushback matter in a game nobody counts? Two players with one name working two cities in a day is like a band carrying two drummers. Confusing on paper, fine live.
Malhotra still has cuts to make in that room. Two men named Elias Pettersson made sure neither gets skipped over in the meeting.
